Or have I missed it? The best version I've seen remains the Kino VHS but I dont think it was included in any of the Griffith sets?

Brian Pinette includes Judith of Bethulia on a dvd with Battle at Elderbush Gulch. You can either order just this dvd, or his collection of 28 Lillian Gish films on 21 dvds for under 30$.

[Edited by the moderator]
As this website is selling quite a few bootlegged DVDs of copyrighted films (including the Lillian Gish disks mentioned above), I am removing this link. Nitrateville rules forbid linking to sites selling unauthorized copies of films still under copyright.

[Inglis-Opps, did not realize that some of these dvds are bootlegs, just ran across the page in some searches inspired by this thread]

Yes, I know of a French edition of this Griffith film by BACH FILMS <http://www.bachfilms.com/>
The website is in French, of course, but quite easy to manage. The DVD is PAL. This edition, replicated on a standard DVD (not DVD-R), does not appear to be remastered, but is watchable. The intertitles are in the original English with French subtitles that flash on the screen. Also, it's not an expensive edition. (10 euros, I think.) BACH FILMS also have many other silent movies including a number of Russian films, silent and sound, that may not be available in the U.S. I hope this helps...

Some slack, I would urge, should be cut for anyone who loves Ann Sothern! (As do I!) Believe Brian once knew her in some capacity, but don't remember circumstances. He was my first supplier of contraband 7-8 yrs ago, but, not having heard from him in several yrs, thought perhaps something untoward might have happened, as he's no spring chicken.
