It's amazing how many of the Sennet shorts only run for 0 minutes. That's short.

I've already been subscribing to TCM for a month but I've got no TV, it's driving me crazy! It will definitely have to happen by September, with this line up, particularly the restored 'Mickey'.

I'm guessing the TCM broadcast of TILLIE'S PUNCTURED ROMANCE will be the same slo-mo version of the UCLA restoration with the Tillie's Nightmare score contained in the Chaplin At Keystone set...? Or, hope of hopes, did Paul and his team get their hands on the UCLA restoration and put it out at the correct speed with a different music score, which TCM will be broadcasting...?

I think these are all Paul's restorations.

GREED is the restoration with still images standing in for the deleted footage, listed at 239 min.
The version as released originally is about 110 min.

I've got the old laserdisc of the un-extended Greed, I'll probably made a DVD-R of the longer version off TCM. I just wonder when I'll have time to watch it...

Aside from the Sennettpalooza, I'm very happy to finally have a chance to see The Red Mill, and Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

:o Wait a minute. They are not airing GRIBICHE, in September and again in November on Silent Sunday's? That has to be a misprint. I assume it will be replaced in November with another Feyder Silent. Or one of the others in the package that David Shepard mentioned? Is it running in October or November? I'm really excited about MICKEY. Hope it is a good and complete print. As far as I know, THE EXTRA GIRL is also a TCM debut? I do not remember it ever being shown before.

Many of the Sennett shorts I have not seen. Wondering how I am going to manage to get all this stuff recorded? HANDS OF ORLAC is not a good start. Couldn't get though this. Poor print, and truly dreadful score. Why run this when they could show a beautiful restoration of FAUST? BATTLE OF THE SEXES is great, but has been shown many times. Would have been nice to see CHICAGO instead. I adore THE RED MILL. They are apparently running FLESH AND THE DEVIL for Clarence Brown's Birthday it would appear.

In any case, maybe as many Silents as ever scheduled in one month. Although I question the logic of airing so many of the earliest Sennett shorts in one evening.
