Slapstick 2008 presents a delightful evening discovering the genius of Buster Keaton alongside two of Britain's best-loved entertainers. Former 'Goodies' and current I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue panellists Tim Brooke-Taylor and Graeme Garden choose their favourite Keaton short films, revealing the works that have influenced their lives and which, we trust, will delight new audiences. Along with a special montage of Goodies scenes influenced by the great comic and extraordinary evening of music, laughter and family entertainment.

With live musical accompaniment from Slapstick 2008s phenomenal improvisation trio. 'the Doyen of silent film accompanists.' (BBC RADIO 4) Neil Brand on Piano, Gunter Buchwald (percussion) and Gunter Buchwald on Violin.

'Bristol Silents has done a great thing for silent films. People as a whole have forgotten how wonderful they could be - how wonderful they still are.' PAUL MERTON
