Oh, that would be Mont Alto. It rather surprised us to be asked, because the caricatures, broad humor, serious topic, and avant garde montage sequences in this film are right up the alley of more contemporary music groups. But we never turn down interesting work, so we dug through our collection for some edgy but still historic music, with an emphasis on Russian composers. I'm quite happy with the way it came out, and it contains some cues I've always wanted to record.
Those of you who saw our live performances of L'Argent may recognize the main theme, Henry Hadley's "Herod Overture," which we reused as a recurring theme in our Strike score. It fit, and it seems unlikely we'll ever record our score to L'Argent.
I'll post some excerpts at some point when I get a chance.
