This coming Saturday, December 10 at 3pm, there will be a special Christmas program at the Texas Theatre. It starts off with Laurel & Hardy as Christmas tree salesmen who run afoul of would-be customer Jimmy Finlayson in "Big Business". This 1929 two-reeler will have live musical accompaniment by the extremely talented Robert Edwards. Then we will present my restored print of L&H's "Babes in Toyland". This print has the very rare original MGM titles and several scenes usually missing from the retitled "March of the Wooden Soldiers". It'll be a fun afternoon.
