After Blackmail, Hitchcock directed some sketch material for this revue compilation, supervised by Adrian Brunel and boasting some of Britain's top musical comedy artists of the day. Several dance sequences are in rather lovely stencilled colour, but for Hitch fans the highlights are probably a darkly comic crime sketch featuring Gordon Harker and a running gag centred on Donald Calthrop (Hitchcock's Blackmail) trying to prove the entertainment value of Shakespeare.
