Assuming the final version gets completed, this camera is the solution
to movie producers, directors and cinematographers who want to shoot
in 65mm but don't want the bulk of present systems.

The worst relation between camera size and resolution (for cameraman and for stand) was some color video cameras of the late 60's, I presume, which required also a back pack.

Clunky, overbearing camera gear that used to be cutting edge.

Being able to shoot 65MM film on equipment much lighter than
the one shown is a revelation. It can take that format into places
and project-types previously restricted. Provided you have the
funding for film developing and scanning, low-budget projects
can be made with the Magellan 65mm. They don't have to be on an epic
scale anymore.
