I knew you'd see this and be excited! This is very cool, but they should have contacted you about DVD extras!

Sadly Olive Blu-ray releases, with a very few rare exceptions, are noted for having absolutely no extras beyond a main menu and chapter menu (which a few major studio distributors have actually been leaving off lately!). Still it will be great to have these available in HD and have hopes for a number of similar titles to show up on their rapidly growing catalog of niche-appeal vintage program pictures in the near future.
They recently released a bunch of early 1950s Paramount westerns to Blu-ray, and in addition to the titles I mentioned above will be coming out later this summer and fall with Blu-rays of RIO GRANDE, FORCE OF EVIL, BODY & SOUL, A DOUBLE LIFE, Orson Welles' MACBETH, CAPTAIN CAREY USA, CYRANO DE BERGERAC, and more! They're even doing a few foreign films, with TRAIN OF LIFE (1998) and THE MILK OF SORROW (2009) scheduled for October and the restored NOVOCENTO (1976) already available in a beautiful transfer.
