Appears to have been a vaudevillian and "Master of Ceremonies" of some renown. Appeared in at least two films, both one reelers, LADY YOU SLAY ME (Paramount 1930), and VAUDEVILLE IS BACK (Vitaphone 1936).
This guy could be the songwriter known as B.B.B. (co-writer of the 1928 hit "I Faw Down an' Go Boom"). Some time years ago I discovered his full real name but now have no idea where I wrote it down...
I got your message. Can't say if the signature is authentic or not? Next to Pearl White, Ruth Roland was probably thee Queen of The Silent Serials. I'm not sure that I have seen any of her films though?
