While looking for William Scott photos, a french collector sent me those.

The guy in the checked shirt in the third photo is Universal Western star Fred Humes.

Number 2 is a B-movie, Western sidekick named Max Terhune. In a lot of the Westerns, he worked as a ventriloquist with a dummy named Elmer.

I don't think so either- Terhune had a wider mouth

Good morning,
Thanks to you all. I have seen the talented and lovable Max Terhune in the adventures of The Three Mesquiteers and The Range Busters and to me this guy doesn't look like him even if there is a vague resemblance. Anyway, the half profile doesn't help to identify that westerner!
Have a nice day

I think the guy with a moustache next to Fred Humes is William Bailey!

The second one looks like Erich von Stroheim during his brief stint as a singing cowboy, which ended when his first release for Monogram went $75 over budget.

Eh thanks, I didnt' know Erich von Stroheim played (singing? ) cowboys! You're right the one on the second picture looks indeed like him... Erich von Stroheim had blue eyes, right or not? (this is not obvious on some pictures). And you know what? as far as one can see on his pictures, his right ear is also quite similar!
