Tweet Jekyll & Hyde (1920) 8mm on ebay

This 8mm of the 1920 Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is for auction on ebay. I don't collect film so don't know, but it doesn't look to me like this seller has the detail in his description that collectors would be looking for. How rare (or not rare) is J&H in film? Is this one of those view at home prints, of which I know nothing?

The Barrymore versions not particularly rare in film form. Blackhawk and several other distributors had it in both 8 and 16mm, and the Blackhawk one was the one to get, especially with the Gaylord Carter score.

This film still needs a proper restoration from the superior source materials used for the cut version on the Kino DVD with the missing sections filled in from whatever source was used to insert those bits into the uncut version on the Image DVD, or a better source if available, natch. (And the redundant reissue intertitle introducing Millicent needs to be removed, as the missing footage contains the original intertitle; the reissue intertitle was mistakenly left in the uncut Image DVD, so the character is introduced twice.) It would be great to have a complete version of this classic in the best possible quality. I'd definitely spring for a Blu-ray! Or even a DVD.
