Looking for Thanhouser's 1915 "Inspiration"

PostFri Apr 22, 2016 12:20 pm

James Bone just released book "The Curse of Beauty: The Scandalous and Tragic Life of Audrey Munson, America’s First Supermodel" has reignited the search for Thanhouser's 1915 production of "Inspiration" that is currently believed to be lost. I am seeking any leads or information to find an extant print of this historic film. You can read Q. David Bower's filmography entry on the film here: http://www.thanhouser.org/tcocd/Filmography_files/ind2t6i9o.htm. Also note this film was re-released in 1918 by Arrow Film Corp. as "The Perfect Model." I would appreciate any ideas, suggestions, or leads on this front.
Thank you all so much,
Ned Thanhouser
