For those who enjoy FOX classics, in celebration of their 75th anniversary, they are releasing a lot of their classics in quad sets. Target is selling each set for $9.99 which is a STEAL! As of September 5, 2010, they have released set 1-11 (#10 has not been released and no one knows if there is a vol. 10, 6-11 was in Target stores on July 2010). (Note: These are found in near the magazine section where the DVD’s are. Of course, this may change at various Target stores).

It's over but hopefully some of you were able to score the Abbot & Costello Universal set from Amazon yesterday. It was down to $56 but I expect this to happen again on Black Friday.

Not sure if it's for today or what...but the price is now:

£26.24 (note: On the site it says £30.83 but when you check out, the VAT is dropped and becomes 26). Total for me and I live in California is: £29.32

It comes to around $46 (US) but I have been waiting for this to go under $60 and this is the cheapest I have seen it since. That's pretty good for 21 DVD's (and I just bought the Abbot & Costello set which was $56).

The new Fox Classic Quad Sets have arrived in Target this week (Volumes #13-#18 ) for $9.99 (so you should see collections #1-18 there, note: there is no #10).

I know some of you have held out in buying a Blu-ray but they are getting pretty cheap. This week, I bought the W.C. Fields Comedy Collection, Vol. 2 (5 discs) at a Pathmark supermarket for just $4.99!

They also had several of the "Franchise Collection" sets for $12.99-$14.99 (with no rhyme or reason as to the price differences).

The Alfred Hitchock Premiere Collection which is usually expensive is on sale for $17.99....

Noticed that KINO's "Ingrid Bergman: Swedish Film Collection" is on sale ala pre-order at Deep Discount for $21.99 as oppose to the $35.99 it's going for right now.
