Here's a couple of things you can do to make your experience better:
1. Set local time.
The time for the board is automatically set to GMT. Go into your profile and you can change it to your local time. (That's ET=GMT minus 5, CT=GMT-6, MT=GMT-7, PT=GMT-8. Those in other parts of the world can figure it out for themselves.)
This will change all times at the board to the equivalent at your local time-- so don't worry, you won't make your answer to a question seem as if it came before the question.
2. Always allow BBCode.
Make sure you can use things like bolding, italics, and links. Click the Yes next to "Always allow BBCode" in your profile.
We should respect the other fellow's religion, but only to the extent that we respect his theory that his wife is attractive and his children intelligent. —H.L. Mencken
