People having similar problems with Safari on iPads (on other sites) have been told to "reset" their iPads.
So I would try that:
Check your own documentation or...

Try resetting the iPad...
Press and hold the Home button and the Wake / Sleep button at the same time, keep them both pressed until the Apple logo appears on the screen.
This will NOT affect any of your content on the iPad."
