Is there a possibility of having polls on this forum assuming the software allows for it? Then we could vote for our favourite actor/actresses films, diectors, fun stuff like who's the best blond etc, and perhaps even something like our own revisionist academy awards for each year.

Polls are actually enabled, but only for new topics. When you start a new topic, go down to the bottom of the screen and next to the "Options" tab is another tab called "Poll Creation".
