Any chance of adding-on a "Non-Eng. Lang." Films, discussion Area?

Where in Nitrateville should one discuss films like "The Blue Angel" and "Olympia" which had simultaneously-filmed English language versions :?

The same place one discusses the part-talkies of 1929-1930, and the ones issued in talkie and silent versions, I suppose.

The question with starting a new forum within NitrateVille always is, will this encourage more of the talk, by demonstrating that there's a dedicated place for it, or less, by ghettoizing it?

Generally, if discussion on something is growing, I feel like a dedicated forum on that subject will encourage it. But if it's just sort of there, not getting bigger or smaller, peeling it off may well reduce the traffic that sees it.

In this case, my feeling is that discussion of non-English language, presumably sound, films is not all that strong here, and taking it out of the most trafficked areas wouldn't help. I'm amenable to being convinced otherwise, but all in all, I just don't think it's a big area of interest for a lot of people here (partly because not all that much is readily available, as I've noted before).

Fair enough comment Mike. Mine was just a newbie question.

Don't ever let anyone put you down for being new. Recognize your limitations yes, but claim your own dignity goddammit!
