Why is a post calling me an ass for dismissing the Charlie Chan series as boring and racist allowed to stand? Is it anything goes in this forum?

Far from it. The post that you question been pulled, as has your even more over-the-line reply to it. I pulled the latter last night; the previous comments were not quite as abrasive so I let them stand at the time, but decided today that it's only fair that both should go. We don't intend to be censors here, but personal attacks definitely have no place.

Wait a minute.1 I take issue with the censoring of my comment. I only said he was acting like an ass (which he was) in making the Chan/Francis the talking mules comparison, he called me one. I think My comment should stand. His was indeed an asinine remark.

Frankly, I don't even care if you leave his comment up. when a jack ass calls me a horse's ass, I can really give a rats ass!
