WBShop.com is now accepting pre-orders for the Warner Archive Collection Volume 2, Monogram Cowboy Collection. Volume 2 contains 6 Whip Wilsons which include the lost titles,
THE GUNMAN and MONTANA INCIDENT and also two Rod Camerons. Here is the link:

My local library just bought this set. After running them, I found that the two Rod Cameron Westerns were interesting, but no great shakes. They were both in Cinecolor, which makes them worth having.

The Whip Wilson westerns were below par for B-Westerns! He wasn't much of a star--and the one he took the whip-gimmick from: Lash LaRue had MUCH better films. Transfers are very nice on the Wilsons, though.

Marr&Colton, glad to hear your library bought Vol 2 of the Monogram Cowboy Collection from the Warner Archive Collection. According to the latest from Warners, Vol 3 of the Monogram Cowboy Collection will belong to Johnny Mack Brown. The Johnny Mack Brown Monograms are my favorites and let's hope your library will buy Vol 3 also. Hopefully Vol 3 will contain some of the Johnny Mack Brown Nevada Jack McKenzie Monograms with the likes of these two good law men riding in them.
