So there you have it. It will be preserved and being on a list like this almost guarantees some funding will be spent on a complete restoration and preservation. So cool your jets, kids, things take time in film land.
But, the Act of Congress that created the Film Preservation Board and the National Film Registry provided no money for preservation activities. A film being placed on the National Film Registry really doesn't amount to a whole lot.
