Tweet Adding subtitles to a DVD

I've recorded a film from TV onto DVD. Now I'd like to add subtitles to the DVD in another language under the existing intertitles.
Has anybody got an idea which software I can use for that? Will NERO VISION do it and if, how? I'd appreciate any helpful ideas.
