What Happened to Dr Macro?

Seems to be gone. Does anybody know him or know what happened?

His server may just be down. Google last copied his page on July 21st.

UPDATE:

He just e-mailed me and reported that his server hard drives failed. He will be up again in 2 weeks.

Thanks for that news - I was in a panic! I use Dr. Macro all the time for pictures to use in the PowerPoint slide-shows that I make to run before the films we play at the Packard Campus Theater. It's a fabulous site.
