DALHOUSIE - Students in the music class of teacher Josee Robichaud at Academie Notre-Dame in Dalhousie are busy making a soundtrack to a silent film by the famous comic duo, Laurel and Hardy.

Gabriel Thibaudeau and the music students of Academie Notre Dame in Dalhousie are making music to accompany an old silent film by the famous comedy duo of Laurel and Hardy. To achieve this difficult task, they have called upon the expertise of pianist Gabriel Thibaudeau, a specialist in the area who notably put music to the famous silent film The Phantom of the Opera, by cineaste Julian Rupert, a classic of the silent genre. How wonderful! Gabriel Thibaudeau is an excellent silent film accompanist I've heard many times over the years at Cinefest and Cinecon. What a great way to get kids to see a silent film and Laurel and Hardy is the perfect choice for the project.
