Is the MGM restoration still available?

In a good copy, it's a great little film, and the MGM DVD looks almost as sharp as a Blu-ray when upscaled and played through an HD projector. (I'd love to see what it would look like on a real HD copy.)
We had some discussion of this film and its various available incarnations awhile back, but I think it might have been buried in some other thread.
