Years ago I had a 16mm print of WEDDING YELLS, one of those 1940's Warner Brothers two-reel reissues adapted from a Mack Sennet comedy starring Louise Fazenda, James Finlayson and Billy Armstrong and is very funny.

Does any one know what the original title of this film was and if it's condensed from a 1920's Sennett feature? Thanks.

Yep, it's a two-reel cutdown of the 1920 feature DOWN ON THE FARM.

Yes, it does, both MOMA and LOC have prints of it, and it has been run at Slapsticon and Cinecon over the years.
