Re: Change The FPS speed on LoC Silent Transfers Using Adobe

Re: Silent Films Online--Web "Premieres"

Also available on the site is the Fox Sunshine Comedy, HER FIRST KISS ('19) which this probably the best looking preserved print of a Sunshine comedy I ever seen.Should say that the site slows down these films.

Re: Questions About Ordering A Copy Of A PD Film From LoC

Re: Questions About Ordering A Copy Of A PD Film From LoC

I basically done business with LOC on pre 1923 silent comedy titles and when I had to do a copyright search on some silent and sound comedy shorts, I took the cheaper route and had an independent film researcher to do the copyright search for $125.00.When I first contacted the archive about the char...

Re: Baby Peggy: The Elephant in the Room now on DVD!

Just tried the link and all it says that the site is temporarily down. It's been doing this for the last year or so. There is a question in regards to the Baby Peggy shorts that will be presented on the disc. 1.Will all three shorts have recreated intertitles, plus opening and closing title cards? 2....

Re: Archives That Sell Transfers of PD Films?

I do business with the LOC in obtaining PD films for transfers and they are great to deal with. You also might want to try UCLA, as I heard they do transfers as well. One archive that doesn't do transfers of their film holdings is MoMA, for which is a real shame since they have a great collection.Does...
