Re: The Mary Pickford Foundation's (4K) Restoration Project

:) Really excited to hear about the restoration of Griffith's LADY OF THE PAVEMENTS. It is an excellent film! Incidentally, anymore of the Vita-phone discs turn up to LILAC TIME??? I mean such a discovery with LOTP audio discs definitely gives me renewed hope that the 3 missing discs to LT are still...

Re: Pending releases from Flicker Alley

:o Good to see THE GARDEN OF EDEN final being re-released. However, I was under the impression that the 10 minute Color Dream sequence or at least a few minutes of it had since been found? Hoping against hope that this might be included. Nonetheless, it's nice to have this terrific film back in circ...

 Besides the 7 of 10 reels to TWO LOVERS, Am I seeing things or has ROSE OF THE GOLDEN WEST (1927) turned up in it's entirety? That would have to be considered an incredible find! Re: Kino to release blu-rays/DVDs of some Paramount silents

Keatonesque, :? BARBED WIRE only exists from 16 millimeter sources, although they seem to be much better processed then the elements were on MANHANDLED. Nevertheless, it is a factor. Whereas by contrast, THE SPANISH DANCER, FORBIDDEN PARADISE, and A WOMAN OF THE WORLD have all been recently restored...

:? Huh? YOU NEVER KNOW WOMEN??? How's that? This one came completely out of nowhere. I was hoping for some of the Pola Negri titles, especially THE SPANISH DANCER, and Lubitsch's FORBIDDEN PARADISE. Oh by the way, KID BOOTS was recently restored in 4K just last year. One might think that would be a ...

I'm overjoyed that ORCHIDS AND ERMINE is apparently being fully restored, and that Warner's is even involved in the project. There was talk of a possible restoration s...
