I wouldn't have thought that any Richard Barthelmess film should be regarded as minor.

In my collection of silent film dvds are a growing number that do not have English intertiles. Either silent films made in non English speaking countries, which naturally have intertitles in the language of that country, or alternatively US/British films where the only surviving print is one produce...

Sorry to go back to an earlier conversation but I cannot view the films satisfactorily at all. I have a very fast broadband connection on a new pc with masses of space but the films just stutter along to the point that it's not worth watching. Someone mentioned earlier downloading the films to watch...
