When I saw the title of the thread I immediately thought of , but I see Harlett O'Dowd beat me to the punch. I think the milk bath scene would get it at least a PG-13 now-a-days.

Richard, Thank you very much for the heads up. I seem to always miss when any of the Holt's movies are on. I've missed The Magnificent Ambersons more than 5 times. Can anyone recommend some significant Jack Holt Westerns? I know he did a few of them, but I have no clue which ones are truly worth see...

I would also say The Adventures of Robin Hood . I first saw this when I was 4 or 5, and this was the first film where the difference in the color really stood out. I had seen The Wizard of Oz , but the transformation from black & white to color was all I noticed. Flynn's "Oz-like" emerald green & Kn...

The Audrey Hepburn Story (2000)
I find anything with Jennifer Love Hewitt to be pretty bad.

One that I really enjoy, RKO 281 (1999).

George, I just watched Renegade Rangers a few weeks ago. Not a very bad story. I felt the music performances were a little forced seeing that they had to shove a lot of story in 60 minutes.

I take it you're related to the George O'Brien?

Howdy, I'm Shaeffer Holt, the grandson of Tim and great-grandson of Jack. I'm glad people still enjoy Jack's work. After my great-aunt Jennifer passed away she gave my family her photo collection (and many other things). I wanted to post some pictures on here but I guess they can't be uploaded from ...
