I came across an interessing project http://stummfilmdj.de (Unfortunately is the page only available in german) It's a group of DJ´s playing electronic music to silent films either on film festivals and even in clubs. I think this is a great way of showing old films to a complete different audience ...

I can just agree with Murnau. The atmosphere in Bonn was great, nice selection of films, fantastic music. For the two nights I've been there I didn't mind the chairs too much... but I can imagine that for visiting the festival for more then just two evenings the chairs are getting more uncomfortable...
