Chaplin Broadway Musical

I can't quite believe I haven't heard of this. Previews on Broadway start in August:

The original version of Chaplin: The Musical premiered in San Diego under the title Limelight: The Story of Charlie Chaplin a couple of years ago. Some reviews:

It sounds like it may have had the same issues as Attenborough's film in that it tries to cover his whole life in a couple of hours. I'll give these folks the benefit of the doubt that revisions have occurred in the last couple of years.
