Thanks for this news. I've read several pieces about the CD, but none of them mentioned the movie.
This isn't even the first "silent" movie Neil Young has made. In 2003, he made a movie called Greendale to accompany his CD of the same name. The CD told a story through the voices of several fictional characters, all sung by Neil. The soundtrack of the movie was the CD, unedited. The actors lip-synched their lines, and of course they all had Neil Young's voice. A quirky, homemade project that I enjoyed but many hated.
