I've seen her in two films ("King of Kings" and "Ships of the Night"), but never thought anything more about her. I wouldn't be interested in learning much more about her.
Perhaps you can answer this? How did she come to be buried in Decatur, Illinois? Did she have family there?
In her bio., there's no record of her living in the area.

All the documentation is easily available to show why she is buried in Greenwood Cemetery in Decatur, Illinois.
I suggest those of you who find it unbelievable, look it up yourself.
As for the person who said he would have no interest in reading any more about her: You apparently didn't read enough to see that there is PLENTY of interesting things about her life. Including being on Hearst's yacht the night Thomas Ince had his fatal encounter. She is one of several, including Charlie Chaplin, who knew the REAL secret behind Ince's death. They all took the secret with them to their grave.
She also wrote and directed a British film, and years later was active in a lot of interesting activities.

Sigh, here come the old Hearst/Chaplin shooting conspiracy theories again... I doubt that she knew what caused his death, since he didn't die until after he left the yacht. Author Brian Taves has meticulously researched Ince's death in his biography, and no foul play was involved.TheAvon wrote:She is one of several, including Charlie Chaplin, who knew the REAL secret behind Ince's death.
