I was browsing the Desert Island Films web site, desertislandfilms.com, and had a few questions.
(1) The pricing guide states "Contact Us to negotiate the exact price for the package of films you’re interested
in. " Given that their prices are stated, exactly what is it that they want to negotiate?
(2) I do not see any sort of online order from along the lines of what you see on Amazon.
I prefer to do things on paper or on a computer screen I can print out.
Is calling them on the phone the only way to order?
(3) If anyone has ordered from them, what was your final outcome?
Desert Island Films - has anyone dealt with them before?

From what I gather these are suppliers of public domain titles to TV channels, businesses and not to the general public - as can be seen by their list of satisfied customers on the front page of their website (History Channel etc).

Yes, they do not supply films to consumers, but to TV stations and cable channels. Their catalog is a good way to check to see if a film is public domain.
