Hey Bob, is this new edition really needed? After all, Reelclassicdvd.com has had this title available for quite some time. The quality is superb with an original score by Stuart Oderman. Were you not aware of the Reelclassicdvd.com release?

This is "Bama". Rescued June 28th, 2014. :)
Seems to like silents. In fact, he seems to like just about everything.

Mark,

This is more of an Arff than a Woof. This is Petey, our rescue schnauzer who we adopted when he was 5. He was blind with cataracts in both eyes but with the help of the rescue league, the lens in his right eye was replaced giving him 80% vision in that eye and about 50% vision in the left eye. He watches Rin Tin Tin movies with me so I guess he likes silents. Petey turns 12 in August.

In the Woof category, this is Cooper, a lab that my son adopted from a rescue league. Since adoption he's developed a cataract in his right eye and sees almost nothing out of it.

As for Meow, this is Sheema. a torti that my other son adopted from the local animal shelter. She has no health problems so far but we have no idea what a $1200 breed of cat was doing in a shelter.

They all get together from time to time and get along just fine.

This is Pup, a Mini Schnauzer. He lost a front leg in a car accident but he gets around just fine. Here he's just finished jogging the harborside boardwalk in Rockland, Maine.

Amazing, & wonderful, that such services are available, as the cost was no doubt great. Amazing, also, how little the typical slow-developing cataract interferes with normal dog behavior, so long at least as a little sight remains. Total blindness is of course something materially different.

Quite remarkable--loss of a hind limb hardly slows down some dogs, but loss of a front leg, which carries much more body weight, must be a serious handicap.

Bob,

Nice! Some great looking pets there!

Bama has lyme disease, a skin infection and dry-eye. He's being treated for all of these. He's our third dog rescue and each of them has enriched our lives.

Pup looks happy, healthy and content. I'll bet he's a great friend, Ed.

Mark

Thanks guys..... Pup can move faster than I can walk. Luckily he only weighs 18 pounds and he adapted nicely. He can go upstairs but not down. more than one. He still races through the house and enjoys barking at the lawn guys ... and anyone who comes to the door.
