It's junk like this that perpetuates a lot of the misconceptions about silent film.

It seems to have been filmed back in the year 2001 with a hand-cranked camera.
The story goes that the Director used actual 16mm film allegedly found on a sidewalk.
To this date is not available on video.
I am sure some fans of silents would enjoy it, if it's ever released.

It looks like a lot of young people playing dress-ups and having fun. Luckily there was someone there with a motion picture camera to photograph it all! I wouldn't mind seeing this picture - it looks as though it would put a smile on my dial.

Authentic and factual or not, it looks like a lot of fun, and I've always liked Maria Conchita Alonso and Jennifer Tilly! Apparently there are "supernatural" ghost-story aspects that they and/or others who saw the finished movie associated with the production after it was made, regarding various characters and locations in the film.
Anyway, if it shows up on Blu-ray, I'll want to buy a copy for sure!

Throw that rubbish in the trash. Why hurting the actual silent-era motion pictures left behind while making this 21st-century hypo ? Real silent films are lost forever and they're remaking like this one for our today's viewing standard ? Not likely !
