Re: Beauty's Worth cover
Wonderful, thanks for the heads-up. The more Marion Davies films available the better. One nit-picky observation (my professional art background is creeping in here): The inset poster would've been much better (perfect) for the front cover with Marion's photo inset on the back. Also, a more period "writerly" font for the teaser and boldface lettering on the back would've been a nice touch to complete the package. Just my 2 cents here, ...that probably wouldn't even get me a cuppa mocha-Java in the twenties.
PS: I somehow missed out on the funding of the project (my bad), but consider me among the first in line when this release is available!

Still a week to go to pledge to the Kickstarter funding!

Thanks. I try to vary the covers from project to project and have used old poster art before. Was trying for something a little more dramatic and I try to stick to fonts that can be easily read.R. Cat wrote:Thanks, ...done!boblipton wrote:Still a week to go to pledge to the Kickstarter funding!

Not a problem. It's great to see labors of love like this succeed. The packaging is far less important than the film. I applaud your efforts.drednm wrote: Thanks. Re: Beauty's Worth cover
The specifics of the packaging don't matter. The thought and care that goes into those specifics do.
