Well, it looks like it’s finally happening in June, and on Blu-ray even.
Wow, and here I thought the Tex Avery Blu-Ray news was exciting. Of course, the Avery came out of the blue (so to speak), but I've been itching for the UCLA L&H restorations since I first learned of them years ago - and contributed $ to the project in my small way.
Well, it looks like it’s finally happening in June, and on Blu-ray even. A pity that only one silent short is included, but hey, at least it’s the one we’ve all been waiting for:
If you've not already taken a look at the before-and-after comparisons of "Come Clean" and "Me and My Pal" (among others) at the above link, you should: those long-awaited UCLA restorations are beautiful. June can't get here quickly enough!

Forgive the plug, but [most] of these are joint co-productions of UCLA's photochemical work and SabuCat's digital restoration work (Jeff Joseph and myself). Very proud and happy to see these will finally be out there.
