Of course. I knew it was foolish, but couldn't say why. It took the son of a great man to put it into words.

Here are some photos of Chris taken at Cinecon in 2014, which I think was the last time he was able to attend. Good times.

Having dinner at Musso's with Rob McKay, Chris stopped by to chat.

Thank you Frederica for sharing these Fotografs.

Being adopted by a School teacher and a stay-home Mother, Dad used to bring canisters of films (after showing them to his class) Mom would clear the Dining room, soda pop, pop-corn ready and with my four sisters would watch films on the beige wall, that, being a monthly treat.
I do regret not being able to go to these meetings with people I share this passion of Film with. Seeing these Fotografs makes me smile and in a sense as if I was there myself.

Chris is one of a kind, as many who would do anything for restoring Classic & Silent Film in particular... to keep them alive for generations to come.

It's always tough to lose a friend, but even moreso when you've known him for over 40 years. I never failed to read his occasional newsletter, "Steady Intermiitent," cover to cover. He's now reunited with his neighbors, Ted and Rusty.

Very sad news -- I lost my wife to Leukemia so I understand what his family is going through. RIP
