This collection features new musical scores for silent subjects by Robert Israel and Charlie Judkins, as well as bonus features and an informative booklet. Its frightfully beautiful cover art was drawn and colored by Stephen DeStefano.

Halloween Haunts is currently in the final stages of being mastered and replicated by our close friends at Thunderbean Animation, and is due for a mid-October 2017 release on Amazon. A general announcement will appear on a noteworthy animation blog next week and an official HD trailer for the collection will be posted soon. In the meantime, pre-orders will help toward general overhead as final finishing costs are endured.

Pre-order instructions and notes:

To pre-order, simply send US$25 (for U.S.A. residents, US$30 for Canadian residents and US$35 for all other international residents) via PayPal to [email protected]" target="_blank and be sure to include your shipping address.

•Replication and fulfillment is expected to culminate on Thursday, October 19th.**
•All pre-orders will be sent first, before Amazon customers are able to have orders filled/sent.
•All domestic pre-orders will be sent via USPS Priority mail to ensure speedy delivery! International orders will be sent via First Class. To discuss extra costs for international Priority, please email us at the same address.

**Due to the nature of Blu-ray and DVD replication complexities, the dates listed in this notice are fair estimates but cannot be absolutely guaranteed. What we can definitely guarantee is speedy delivery of the final product once it is available for shipment. Thank you in advance for understanding.

Note: Halloween Haunts was a secret project in production for quite some time. Our long-awaited Bobby Bumps collection is also in the midst of being finished and will be available to Kickstarter and Indiegogo backers, as well as the general public, later this fall. To those of you who crowd-funded the production of Bobby Bumps, thanks kindly again for your support your continued patience! The finish line is near.

Sincerely,

Tommy José Stathes

Ordering right now!

As I'm in Canada, ordering directly through PayPal seemed to be the way to go, rather than through Amazon USA. Hope there are no issues with that.

I'm told pealed eyes can cause ringing in the ears.

Is Ko-Ko Sees Spooks cut? The Max bit at the front seems very short. Great cartoon!

Not exactly sure, as I don't currently have another version to compare it against.

I'm glad everyone is receiving their copies and enjoying the set!

Very pleased to have lent a hand getting this out the door in time for Halloween. Very well curated selection. It's worth noting that the version of Alice's Mysterious Mystery presented here is more complete than the one on Disney's own release!

Mine arrived in the post this morning, thanks so much Tommy, much quicker turnaround than I expected (from the postal service, not from you). I'll go out and buy some marked-down Halloween candy and have a spooky weekend with these and the rest of the Val Lewton box set.

I would love to put one or two Christmas/winter themed sets out as well. Fingers crossed!

Yes! You read my mind!

Do you think there's a lot of Thanksgiving ones out there as well? I feel like there was quite a few 'toons in the 30s, 40s and 50s celebrating "feasts" if not the holiday outright. But I'm not sure about the early days.

Not too mention, another volume of Halloween-themed shorts would be welcome as well!

There are plenty of feast-themed silents, but probably not enough to warrant a Thanksgiving set. (We're also a long ways from those unenlightened days of 1992 when the Turner networks counted any time Bugs, Porky, Popeye, or Tom & Jerry entered Injun Territory as "Thanksgiving themed," so the scope has dwindled.) A Christmas themed set? That's not on the slate this year... but don't discount the possibility of a set coming out around Christmas either way...

I wouldn't mind an Indian set. There are some good cartoons in that theme. Steve could do a box set with a disk for each ethnicity and base it on the classic book "Secret Museum of Mankind".
