Art House Convergence, a trade group of art and repertory theaters, awarded their Life Achievement award to our friends Dennis Doros and Amy Heller of Milestone Films. Besides the announcement, there's a good interview here:

While I agree with Mark Twain that it is better to deserve honors and not have them, than to have honors and not deserve them, it's nice to see two people who deserve honors get them.

Thank you! It was a very emotional evening and we met many, many new friends this week at the Arthouse Convergence. Amy and I will reprint our speeches in our next month's newsletter, but mine was a tribute to my old boss, Don Krim.
