Does anyone know why silentera.com has been down since yesterday...and, of course, when it will be back up? I need it

!
Thanks for any word.

It seemingly hasn't been updated in months, perhaps in over half a year. I'm a bit concerned about its status and whether it is still being run or if it's been abandoned for some reason.

You can still access it via archived pages offered by Google and Archive.org. After you do a Google search, every result has a green line of text that ends with a green triangle. Click the green triangle and click "Cached" to see the archived page of that result. But if a site or page has been gone for a long time, Google won't display results for it, and you won't be able to access the "cached" pages that way.

Since I'm a Patreon supporter of silenteraDOTcom, I kinda need to know what is going on. I emailed Patreon to see what they can find out. I have noticed the lack of recent updates. But, the website being down is only for about two days. I could swear the owner/creator of Silent Era has contributed to NitrateVille recently but my memory is not that good as to when.

Thanks so much for letting me know, Robert. I wonder what was the problem.

It would be nice if this site would update the status of films more often as just as producers have new DVDs available that they do a great job announcing, collectors would appreciate the status of films updated from "unknown" to "in an archive" in a "private collection" somewhere, etc. I have emailed this site several times in the past to update the status of films that I have acquired and no changes have been made to the data for these titles. This may require more folks to assist in this research endeavor, but if you need volunteers I would sign up to assist to improve the process.
