My old 2017 Kickstarter project, On Dangerous Ground (1917), is being released soon by Grapevine Video in both DVD and Blu-ray editions. WWI adventure spy film stars Carlyle Blackwell and Gail Kane and features an original piano score performed by me.

Thanks for the notice, Ed. I'm looking forward to it and to your piano score. Makes a nice change from the usual Grapevine faux organ scores. I've never gotten your "Teddy Bear's Picnic" quite out of my head, so your piano accompaniment to ON DANGEROUS GROUND will be fun to hear. Any idea when Grapevine will begin to sell it? I just checked. Not yet.

It should be soon. Just need some okays from Library of Congress on logos, etc., which I assume they'll get next week.

This is my first feature film music project. I've done short films and David Drazin used several of my music pieces on Buried Treasure, which he performed. Funny how they sounded better when he played them.

I was surprised by how good this film was. It is short but a lot happens in less than an hour.

Well, since I plan to order that one, I did get an e-mail for the release of Dangerous Ground (1917) and...the Chronicles Of The Gray House (1925) from Grapevine. For over a year, if I am not mistaken Lobster Films had it in their catalogue for a future release. So now, Grapevine has decided to release it before them. It remains to be seen if Lobster Films will release it and become available in any format to us. Since I have waiting for such a long time, I will order the Grapevine Blu-ray.
Thank you Ed for making this possible.(The Dangerous Ground release) and adding your score to it.

Those who get the blu-ray, can you post how the quality is? I'm not referring to source material but more so on their encoding. Grapevine is very hit and miss with their HD encoding, more so on the miss side (sometimes I don't think they know exactly what they are doing when it comes to HD encoding).

I agree. I really enjoyed it as well. I suspect a lot was because I was really into learning about The Great War back when the Kickstarter happened.
