Orson Welles' assistant Bill Herz told me that she was so beautiful, it made him weak in the knees. (And that effect is all the more powerful, when considering that I believe that Bill was gay.)

Wow, quite an extensive article about her life! I wonder what prompted them to profile her. That book by Linda B. Hall they mentioned was published in 2013.
