The Cinemateca Boliviana showed the new restaurated silent "Wara Wara" a few days ago in La Paz. For the Bolivians it was a great moment, because it's the only surviving movie of the bolivian silent era. After years of restauration the work is now completed. About the restauration work Fernando Vargas Villazon published in these days the book ""Wara Wara. La reconstrucción de una película perdida". On YouTube, the Cinemateca is showing two trailers with scenes of the movie.

What fantastic news! Looks like they've done a great job on the restoration, too.
