If you will be in the Cape Cod area this Thursday February 9th, I will be showing a super 8 Time Life/Blackhawk print of Harold Lloyd in Girl Shy (1924). A romntic comedy for the week of Valentine"s Day, Directed by Fred C. Newmeyer, with Jobyna Ralston. The music score by the Crescent City Jazz Band.
The show is at 7:30PM at The Schoolhouse in The WOMR Davis Space 494 Commercial St. in Provincetown, MA. There will be a $5 dollar suggested donation to help support community radio WOMR. Free popcorn will be supplied by The Provincetown Inn. Beer, Wine, and Soda will be available too.

Oh, oh. he return of the evil Crescent City Jazz Band. Obviously an old Time-Life Films print from the 70's. I haven't heard the score, but I know that the film itself is heavily butchered in this version. Lots of unfortunate cuts.
