William Wellman's drama was one of the first sympathetic portrayals of life on the run to emerge from Hollywood. Stars Wallace Beery with Louise Brooks in an outstanding performance as a cross-dressing criminal.

Yes, we're going to this. I'm not familiar with the film but it sounds good.

It's a wonderful film that I have only been able to see in a rather poor copy. But I have watched it many times.

Fantastic film. And well done to Neil Brand and the Dodge Brothers for their sparkling improvisation which accompanied the screening.

I'd say it wasn't digital but others more knowledgeable can probably confirm.
