Hey All,

This Thursday I will be showing on Reel Film my annual winter screening of Nanook Of The North (1922) Directed by Robert J. Flaherty. This was the first filmed documentary of Eskimo life. The film wasn't a actual documentary, because Flaherty used local available Eskimo's to pro tray a fictional Eskimo family, but what they did throughout the film was a authentic showing of Eskimo life at the time. The film will be accompanied by a DJ from WOMR Dinah Mellin on fiddle, plus two of her friends Randy Patterson on mandolin, and Roe Osborn on bass.

The film will be Thursday evening February 6th at 7:30PM, at the WOMR Davis space in The Schoolhouse 494 Commercial St. in Provincetown. A $5 dollar suggested donation to help support WOMR in the off season. Free popcorn will be supplied by the Provincetown Inn. Wine will be provided by The Yardarm of Provincetown for donation, and Beer, and Soda will be available too for donation too.
