Hey All,

This Thursday January 22nd, I will be showing a very nice super 8 Blackhawk print of "The Yankee Clipper" (1927) Directed by Rupert Julian, who was probably best remembered for Directing "The Phantom Of The Opera" (1925) with Lon Chaney, and taking over for Stroheim with Merry-Go Rround (1923). That film which also starred both Norman Kerry, and Mary Philbin, and which he chose to use again in "The Phantom Of The Opera".

"The Yankee Clipper" Stars William Boyd, Elinor Fair, and Walter Long. This was released by Paul Killiam, and uses his narration. Along for the ride, even though it is a sound short will fit nicely here. A super 8 Blackhawk print of "Any Old Port" (1932) Directed by James W. Horne, starring Laurel and Hardy, and with Walter Long who plays the villain in both films. All films in the series are on Reel Film, Thursday evenings through March at 7:30PM at The WOMR Davis Space in The Schoolhouse 494 Commercial St. in Provincetown, MA. There will be a $5 dollar suggested donation to help community supported radio WOMR during the off season. Free Popcorn will be provided by The Provincetown Inn, and Beer, Wine, and Soda will be available for donation too
