"Tillie's Punctured Romance" (1914) Provincetown, MA

Hey All,
This Thursday January 21st, I will be showing a super 8 Griggs/Essex Films print of "Tillie's Punctured Romance" (1914) Directed by Mack Sennett, Staring Charlie Chaplin, Marie Dressler, and Mable Norman. This was taken from the (1930) reissue with a musical score and sound effects, and is more complete than other versions. I will also be showing a super 8 Griggs/Essex films print of "Work" (1915) Directed by and staring Charlie Chaplin, with Edna Purviance. "Work", will have the Stuart Oderman piano score, that was transferred by Donnie Lee, from his father Bob Lee's original master tapes.
All films in the series are on Reel Film, Thursday evenings through March at 7:30PM at The WOMR Davis Space in The Schoolhouse 494 Commercial St. in Provincetown, MA. There will be a $5 dollar suggested donation to help community supported radio WOMR during the off season. Free Popcorn will be provided by The Provincetown Inn, and Beer, Wine, and Soda will be available for donation too
